It all started with a trip to Tennessee...

Several years ago on a seemingly typical vacation to the Smoky Mountains in Gatlinburg, my family and I visited a local apple orchard.  Little did I know that this was the beginning of an extraordinary journey  towards creating our own farm back home in Indiana.

We put our house up for sale and purchased an 8 acre plot of land that had been farmed  exclusively for corn and soybeans for decades. Thus began our tall task of restoring this  depleted land back into a thriving ecosystem.

It's been a long journey, and there is still lots to do, but we have enjoyed it every step of the way, well maybe not every step.
